Diesel price hike: Protests all over

ഡീസലിനു 5 രൂപ കൂട്ടിയതിൽ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച് രാജ്യമൊട്ടുക്കുമുള്ള പ്രതിഷേധം വളാഞ്ചേരിയിലും പ്രതിഫലിച്ചു. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച്ച വൈകീട്ട് ഇടത് പാർട്ടികളുടെയും ബി.ജെ.പി യുടെയും നേത്രത്വത്തിൽ പ്രതിഷേധപ്രകടനങ്ങൾ നടന്നു. ഇരു പാർട്ടികളും ശനിയാഴ്ച്ച രാവിലെ 6 മുതൽ വൈകീട്ട് 6 വരെ സംസ്ഥാന വ്യാപകമായി ഹർത്താലിന് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.

പുതുക്കിയ നിരക്കനുസരിച്ച് മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലയിൽ ഡീസലിനു വില 50.99 ആയി. ഇതിനിടെ സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാർ ലാഭവിഹിതം വേണ്ടെന്നുവച്ച വകയിൽ പുതുക്കിയ നിരക്കിൽ നിന്ന് ഒന്നര രൂപയോളം കുറയും. ഇതിനിടെ ഗാർഹികാവശ്യത്തിനുള്ള പാചകവാതക സിലിണ്ടർ വർഷത്തിൽ ആറായി നിചപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

 

Summary: Price of diesel hiked by Rs.5 sparked protests allover the nation and its waves hit the town of Valanchery too. The left parties and the BJP protested in the town on the Friday evening and they call for a statewide strike on Saturday from 6AM to 6PM.
